Panzyga HCPCS Changed Effective July 1, 2023 - IVIG

A new HCPCS code, J1576, was created for billing Panzyga, immune globulin, non-lyophilized (e.g. liquid) given intravenously, effective for dates of service on/after July 1, 2023. One unit of service equals 500 milligrams (mg).

Previously, for dates of service from August 2, 2018 to June 30, 2023, this drug was billed with HCPCS code J1599 and a description was required. The units of service were the same as listed above.
