Portal, IVR, and Customer Service Limited Availability on June 28 - 30, 2019

There will be Common Working File (CWF) "Dark" days on Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30, 2019 for all CWF hosts. This means the CWF online Health Insurance Master Record (HIMR) inquiry will not be available on those days.  

The following functions will not be available in the Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP)

  • Inpatient SNF Hospital Summary
  • Claim Status
  • Claim Denials Relating to Eligibility
  • Self Service Reopenings
  • Redetermination Submission

The following functions will not be available on the Interactive Voice Response (IVR)

  • Redeterminations
  • Same or Similar
  • Prior Authorization Request (PAR)
  • Claim Status / Details

Customer Service Representatives will not be able to assist providers with the below.

  • Eligibility Inquiries
  • Claim Status Relating to Eligibility
  • Claim Denials Relating to Eligibility
  • Same or Similar
  • ADMC/Prior Authorization Status

In addition to the CWF Dark Days, the Claims Processing Systems for Part A, Part B and DME will be unavailable beginning Friday, June 28 at 8 p.m. CT through Sunday, June 30.

This will impact the following NMP functions:

  • Claim Specific Remittance Advices
  • Payment Results
  • Overpayment Results
  • Same or Similar (Option 1)
  • Prior Authorizations

Due to CMS scheduled maintenance, Eligibility, MBI Lookup and Same or Similar will also be unavailable at 7:30 p.m. CT on Friday, June 28 until 11:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Note: In observance of the Independence Day holiday, Noridian offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2019.
