The Noridian Outreach and Education team hosts seminars for Medicare suppliers and referral sources to work together in understanding the various changes, tools and best practices regarding Medicare requirements.
DMEPOS suppliers and referral sources are invited to a "Medicare Step by Step" seminar. Join us in reviewing the various changes, tools and best practices regarding Medicare requirements. This fall, the emphasis is on "real life" scenarios that the supplier community has shared with the Outreach and Education team as well as those identified by the DME Medical Review staff. Examples will be provided to help clarify both policy and documentation requirements. It is our goal is increase supplier knowledge and promote strong business practices to protect their business and the beneficiaries served.
Are you interested in receiving one on one time with representatives from Noridian? Now is your chance! Discuss policy requirements, redacted pre-submitted claims, claim results and any questions you may have during these scheduled 30-minute sessions. These sessions will be held during our fall in-person seminars.
The 30-minute meetings will take place from 8:30 a.m. - noon and 1p.m. - 4:30 p.m. allowing suppliers to attend the seminar and take part in individual time with representatives from Noridian.
To take advantage of this great experience, suppliers must register for the seminar and simply mark "Yes" to the last question asking if you would like to be contacted to set up a 30 minute one on one session during the seminar. It's that simple!
Did you miss marking "Yes" or change your mind after registering? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate what seminar you are registered for and that you would like to set up a one on one session.
Once completed, Noridian will call you to determine your preferred educational topics, arrange for pre-submitted questions and confirm your time for a designated 30-minute session.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) has approved six (6) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for each seminar. Noridian does not require CEUs from our supplier community; however, we offer them as an opportunity for suppliers/staff who need them as part of their Certified Professional Coder education.
