Enrollment - Medicare Pilot Program for Asbestos Related Disease

Any provider or supplier can provide services to Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in the Medicare Pilot Program for Asbestos Related Disease. Providers do not need to be enrolled with Medicare in order to provide services to patients enrolled in this pilot program.

The beneficiary is responsible to file their claim to the pilot program for consideration.  Medicare providers, as a courtesy to the beneficiary, may file claims on the beneficiary’s behalf.  Payment is made to the beneficiary for all services or items provided in the pilot program.

Certified Medicare providers or suppliers, under special circumstances, may receive reimbursement  from the pilot program.  Please contact Noridian to inquire about potential reimbursement arrangements.
