Provider Enrollment 101 (A Beginners Course)

This session is designed for beginners and will provide a basic overview of the enrollment process. Learn about the National Provider Identifier (NPI), the different CMS 855 enrollment applications and how Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) process your enrollments.

 

Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities (IDTFs)

This session is designed for the experienced provider and will walk you through the process and requirements for enrolling as an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities (IDTF). Attendees will learn about the IDTF standards, supervising physician, and site visit requirements. This interactive session will assist providers with challenges, pitfalls and common mistakes made when submitting IDTF enrollment applications.

 

Clinic/Group Practice

This session is aimed at the experienced provider and will navigate you through the enrollment process for clinics/group practices. This session will focus on the ownership and managing control requirements, reassignment arrangements, and common reasons for development. This interactive session will also focus on avoiding common mistakes when enrolling as a clinic/group practice. Other types of suppliers that will be discussed during this session include but are not limited to the following: Independent Clinical Laboratory.

 

Certified Providers/Suppliers

This session is geared toward the experienced provider with interest in exploring the world of certified providers/suppliers. Examples of types of certified providers/suppliers that may be discussed during this session include but are not limited to the following: Home Health Agencies, Hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, etc. Get all your questions answered such as how do I add a branch location, can I continue to bill during a Change of Ownership, and understanding the multi-step approval process of your enrollment application. This interactive session will cover the nuances of the certified provider/supplier enrollment process and will leave attendees with a solid understanding of the policies and procedures.

 

Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS)

This interactive session is designed to navigate through the DME enrollment process with a concentration on the DME supplier standards, the roles of CMS and the National Supplier Clearinghouse (NSC) in the enrollment process, site visits, and DME accreditation.
