Topical Oxygen Therapy Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) Key Questions
Joint DME MAC Publication
Posted January 23, 2025
The DME MACs assembled an eight-member, seven voting members and one industry representative, specialty-focused CAC, comprised of a national panel of methodological experts, academicians and clinicians. The CAC meeting was held on December 11, 2024, virtually. Sixteen Key Questions were discussed by the CAC members and confidence in each Key Question scored. Confidence was rated on a scale of 1-5, with 1 indicative of low confidence and 5 indicating high confidence.
During the meeting, one voting CAC panel member's vote was noted to have been registered twice due to a technical issue. We have removed the duplicate vote, and below are now the official scores for the rating of each question.
