Additional Codes Added to the F2F/WOPD List

On July 30, 2026, CMS published Federal Register Notice (91 FR 47972) and announced 22 additional codes being added to the Required Face-to-Face Encounter and Written Order Prior to Delivery (F2F/WOPD) List. For additional information refer to the following resources:

The E1161 (Manual Adult Tilt-in-Space Wheelchair) has been added to the Required F2F/WOPD List. As a result, a F2F encounter, valid WOPD, and all applicable documentation requirements must be completed prior to delivery. The E1161 remains in the voluntary ADMC program.

Suppliers are encouraged to review current documentation requirements and ensure complete records are submitted to help avoid delays and claim denials.
