Other Medicare Entities

The NPI Registry enables you to search for a provider's NPPES information. All information produced by the NPI Registry is provided in accordance with the NPPES Data Dissemination Notice. Information in the NPI Registry is updated daily.

Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Medicare Administrative Contractor:

  • Jurisdiction D DME MAC - Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming

Although DME is covered by Medicare Part B, it is a different contract from Medicare Part B Fee-For-Service.

DME supplies medical equipment such as:

  • Canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs
  • Diabetic test strips and monitors
  • Hospital beds
  • Ostomy bags, surgical dressings and splints
  • Prosthetics/orthotics
