Education and Outreach

The Outreach and Education team educates Medicare suppliers about Medicare fundamentals; policies and procedures; new Medicare initiatives; and any significant changes to the Medicare program. Noridian offers a variety of strategies and methods to distribute information about the Medicare program to our supplier community.

Ask the Contractor Meeting (ACM) - Attend a teleconference hosted by Noridian allowing suppliers to call in and ask questions on specified call topic

CMS Medicare Learning Network (MLN) - Access CMS Medicare Fee-For-Service provider/supplier educational information

Collaboration with Associations - CMS promotes collaboration to increase educational efforts and reduce error rates. Request Noridian staff to speak at an event

DME On Demand - View presentations via self-paced education tutorials

National DME MAC Education - With two DME MACs responsible for the national Medicare supplier workload, the need for collaboration and providing consistent education is critical. Noridian and CGS collaborate to create this education for our suppliers.
