Correct Use

  • Append to HCPCS codes billed for purpose of a repair as part of a repair to Durable Medical Equipment (DME), prosthetics or orthotics. This includes not otherwise classified (NOC) codes

Incorrect Use

  • Appending modifier to HCPCS codes used to bill for labor related to repair
