This is the Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP) User Guide. To use the elements within this guide you must first be logged into the portal.

Portal, IVR and Customer Service Limited Availability on July 2-5, 2021

There will be Common Working File (CWF) “Dark” days on Friday, July 2 through Sunday, July 4, 2021 for all CWF hosts. This means the CWF online Health Insurance Master Record (HIMR) inquiry will not be available on those days.

Due to July 5th being observed as the July 4th holiday, there will be no claim cycles. Updated claim data will be available on Tuesday, July 6th.

The following functions will not be available in the Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP):

  • Claim Status
  • Inpatient SNF Hospital Summary in Eligibility
  • Self Service Reopenings
  • Redetermination Submission
  • Same or Similar

The following functions will not be available on the Interactive Voice Response (IVR):

  • Redeterminations
  • Same or Similar
  • Prior Authorization Request (PAR)
  • Claim Status / Details

Customer Service Representatives will not be able to assist providers with the below:

  • Eligibility Inquiries
  • Claim Status Relating to Eligibility
  • Claim Denials Relating to Eligibility
  • Same or Similar
  • Advance Determination of Medicare Coverage (ADMC) Status

Note: Noridian offices will be closed Monday, July 5, 2021 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
