Primary Care First Model Demonstration Project
Effective January 1,2021, through December 31, 2025, a nurse practitioner (NP) is allowed to certify an order for diabetic shoes under the Primary Care First (PCF) Model Demonstration Project. Only NPs participating in the PCF demonstration are eligible to serve as the certifying physician.
