COVID-19: Accelerated Payment

CMS has expanded the current Accelerated Payment Program during the COVID-19 public health emergency to extend financial hardship relief to impacted Medicare facilities and providers. Special considerations will be given for COVID-19 circumstances. To start the accelerated payment request process, reference the Provider Request for Accelerated Payment Form [PDF]. For intermediary, list Noridian-COVID-19 and in Section 3, check box (b). Section 4 does not need to be completed. A Request Certification Form [PDF] must be completed before we can finalize your request. We would suggest submitting this form with the initial request if at all possible, but it can be submitted at a later time.
