Ask the Contractor Teleconference (ACT)

ACTs are designed to open communication between the provider community and Noridian. These calls allow for timely identification of problems and information sharing in an informal and interactive atmosphere. There are toll-free phone numbers and no registration required.

Submitting a Question Prior to an ACT

Questions may be submitted prior to a scheduled ACT. Read and follow the ACT Provider Question Submission form instructions and submit your inquiry at least five days prior to the ACT. Questions will be answered at the start of the call. Access Forms.

Attending an ACT

Please call in ten minutes prior to start time as calls begin at the time designated in the schedule listing. After placing the call, you will be asked for the following:

  1. Conference Name
  2. Facility Name
  3. City and State
  4. Number of people in attendance

Representatives from various Noridian Medicare Part A teams will be available to address your questions and concerns; however, no Personal Health Information (PHI) is allowed during these calls.

Questions and Answers

Per CMS Internet Only Manual (IOM), Publication 100-09, Chapter 6, Section 20.6.2 This link will take you to an external website. , a complete question-and-answer document will be published below within 30 business days following an ACT. The question-and-answer document will include all questions asked and answered during the ACT, as well as any information that was presented that was not part of a question or an answer. If no answer could be provided at the ACT for a question that was asked during the teleconference, the question-and-answer will include that question and its answer.
