Mailing Addresses and Point of Contact for CERT Requests

Where are CERT ADR letters mailed to?

  1. The CERT Review Contractor (RC) mails all Initial CERT Additional Documentation Request (ADR) letters to the Medical Records Correspondence Address on file with Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) for provider/supplier that billed/submitted the claim
  2. All subsequent ADR letters can be sent to an alternate address. This can be provided to the CERT RC by calling 888-779-7477

The above processes are based on each individual Claim Identifier (CID).

Update Addresses in PECOS

If a provider/supplier address must be updated, he/she must make the necessary changes via PECOS.

Create a Point of Contact (POC) with the CERT RC and/or Noridian

  • CERT RC, Chain Address Program - Providers who have at least 10 PTAN numbers can create a single POC with the "chain address" program. This program is as follows:
    • Call the CERT RC office (888-779-7477) with a list of PTAN numbers and designated point of contact information
    • CERT RC will email/call the point of contact with a list of outstanding CID numbers
      • When requested, the CERT CSR will forward a copy of letters not yet received
    • For more information on the CERT letters please go to the C3HUB and see "Letters and Contact Information".
  • Noridian - A provider/supplier can update their contact information for CERT related correspondences from Noridian. If a specific POC is not provided, the Noridian CERT team will use the contact on file with the CERT RC.
    • Complete and email/fax CERT POC Provider Form.
      • Note: This address can only be used by Noridian for CERT related communications. The CERT RC is not shared this contact information and must be updated thought their process.
