- Correct date of service if incorrect and resubmit as a new claim
- If date of death and date of service are same day, a Redetermination request may be submitted with all relevant supporting documentation. How to Avoid Future Denials
- Suppliers may use the Noridian Medicare Portal, under eligibility, to verify if beneficiary is eligible, prior to submitting a claim
- Date of Death will display on the eligibility benefits response page
- If record on file is incorrect, beneficiary's family/estate must contact the Social Security Administration to make necessary correction(s) to have records corrected.
