Description of Issue: Noridian recently discovered an issue with the printing and mailing of notice of determination (NOD) letters for paper claims that were deemed unprocessable. If we received an unprocessable claim from your office, an NOD letter may not have been mailed to you.

Provider/Supplier Action Required: May need to resubmit claims.
Proposed Resolution/Solution: If you have paper claims older than 30 days for which you have not received a remittance or NOD letter, please resubmit. Please ensure your claim is correctly completed following the CMS 1500 Claim Form Instructions on our website. If the claim(s) was initially submitted timely, but is now past the timely filing limit, please enter “Administrative Error - NOD Issue” in Item 19 of the CMS-1500 claim form.
