HCPCS Code Pricing Correction - Dynamic Positioning Hardware (E2398)

The DME MACs recently became aware that the contractor pricing initially established for Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code E2398 (WHEELCHAIR ACCESSORY, DYNAMIC POSITIONING HARDWARE FOR BACK) included payment for more than just the hardware for a dynamic back. The pricing for code E2398 has been corrected, effective for claims with dates of service on or after January 1, 2022.
