Competitive Bid HCPCS Lookup Tool
This tool is intended to assist suppliers/providers with determining if a specific Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code is considered under the Competitive Bidding Program. After entering the HCPCS code, the tool will provide information if the item is included in competitive bid. This tool will also provide guidance to identify if beneficiary's permanent address is included in a competitive bid area.
DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program: Temporary Gap Period
All Medicare Round 2021 Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, & Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program (CBP) Contracts for Off-the-Shelf (OTS) back braces and OTS knee braces expire on December 31, 2023. Starting January 1, 2024, there will be a temporary gap in the DMEPOS CBP. This means that there are no HCPCS codes under the Competitive Bidding on or after January 1, 2024.
