Description of Issue: FISS has identified an issue in which sequestration was calculated incorrectly on certain claims submitted on or after April 17, 2026, through April 28, 2026, resulting in underpayments. FISS is developing a utility to identify and reprocess all affected claims that were paid incorrectly due to this issue.

Noridian Action Required: Noridian is monitoring this issue and will ensure all affected claims are reprocessed through the FISS utility.

06/08/26 - Noridian is continuing to work with FISS to validate the utility used to determine provider impact.

06/23/26 - Noridian is continuing to work with FISS to validate the utility used to determine provider impact.

07/07/26 - Noridian completed validation with FISS, and the release of impacted provider adjustments has begun. To minimize system impact, adjustments will be released in phases over the next several weeks.
