CR 14561 updates the lists of HCPCS codes CMS subjects to the consolidated billing (CB) provision of the SNF Prospective Payment System (PPS). We’ll use changes to CPT and HCPCS codes and Physician Fee Schedule designations to revise Common Working File edits, allowing MACs to make appropriate payments per SNF CB policy in the Medicare Claims Processing Manual, Chapter 6, section 20.6.
