IVR Enhancements Coming Soon

To improve your experience, the Noridian Contact Center Interactive Voice Response (IVR) will soon be getting an upgrade.

Enhanced features will include:

Medicare Part A
Additional claim denial information

  • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) – HMO name, address, and effective date
  • Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) – MSP name, type, and effective date
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) – SNF National Provider Identifier (NPI), and start and end dates of stay
  • Hospice – Hospice provider NPI, and start date
  • Home Health – Home Health provider NPI, and start date
  • Deceased – Date of Death

Medicare Part B
Additional claim information

  • Claim receipt date
  • Place of Service
  • Whether claim was submitted as Medicare primary or secondary
  • Date Additional Development System (ADS) letters were sent requesting additional information
  • If claim is being denied as a duplicate claim, Internal Control Number (ICN) of claim it is denying against will be provided
  • Remittance Advice (RA) number will be provided for claims that are applied to deductible
  • Watch for future articles providing additional details and the launch date of the upgraded IVR.
