Summary of LCD: This Local Coverage Determination (LCD) has been developed to create a policy consistent with current evidence for the treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancers (NMSCs) with superficial radiation therapy (SRT) and addresses a variation of SRT utilizing High-Resolution Ultrasound (HRUS) guidance, and electronic brachytherapy (EBT), for the treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancers (NMSCs).
