Before registering in NMP, complete Steps 7-9 for EDI Enrollment
The Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP) is a free online portal that allows providers to perform self-service actions, such as verify beneficiary eligibility, check claim and appeal status, print and view remittance advices and view financial information. Step 10: Ensure All Required Information is Available
The following information is required for creating a NMP account:
- NPI - Provider's group/billing National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- PTAN - Provider Transaction Access Number (PTAN)
- TIN - Provider's company Tax Identification Number (TIN)
- Submitter/Trading Partner ID - Found on EDISS Connect Account
- Check Information - Payment received from Noridian (check number and amount can be obtained by Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or a remittance advice)
Step 11: Create a NMP Account
Creating a NMP account involves seven quick steps:
- Personal Information
- Login to Account
- Security Questions
- Account Confirmation
- Organization Information
- Add Provider/Suppliers
- Registration Request Submitted
