This is the Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP) User Guide. To use the elements within this guide you must first be logged into the portal.

Function and Combination Changes

When a user requests functions and a new combination, a pending request for both will display. Select either from the "Request Type" column of the Pending Requests table.

  • To approve functions, select either Approve or Deny for each one and select the "Update Approvals" link.
  • Select "+" sign to expand the Associated Combinations table.
    • To approve request, use the check box next to provider name and select "Approve Request"
    • To deny request, use the check box next to provider name and select "Deny Request"
  • If additional functions or removals are requested, a "Function Change" request will display. Choose Approve or Deny Request radio button next to the function being requested or removed and select "Update Approvals".
