Before registering in NMP, complete Steps 7-9 for EDI Enrollment

The Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP) is a free online portal that allows providers to perform self-service actions, such as verify beneficiary eligibility, check claim and appeal status, print and view remittance advices and view financial information. All functions of NMP can be found on the NMP Inquiry Guide.

Step 10: Ensure All Required Information is Available

The following information is required for creating an NMP account:

• NPI - Provider's group/billing National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• PTAN - Provider Transaction Access Number (PTAN)
• TIN - Provider's company Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• Submitter/Trading Partner ID - Found on EDISS Connect Account
• Check Information - Payment received from Noridian (check number and amount can be obtained by Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or a remittance advice)

Step 11: Create a NMP Account

Creating an NMP account involves seven steps:

• Personal Information
• Login to Account
• Security Questions
• Account Confirmation
• Organization Information
• Add Provider/Suppliers
• Registration Request Submitted

Congratulations, you are now fully enrolled with Noridian Medicare.
