- Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) insurance type not present

Next Step
- Claim may be resubmitted with corrected information
- Verify correct MSP insurance type was submitted in loop 2000B SBR02
- An MSP form can be submitted.
- Fill out the top half, and in the “Reason for Request,” indicate that the claim does not relate to the work-related injury or illness.
Claim Submission Tips
- Verify patient's eligibility via Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or the Noridian Medicare Portal
- If there is a problem with file, patient will need to contact the Benefits Coordination & Recovery Center (BCRC) at 1-855-798-2627 to make necessary corrections
- Verify that all necessary primary information is correctly submitted on claim
