Crossover Rejection Letters - Portal Guide

Available For: Part B and DME

View letters related to Coordination of Benefits Agreements (COBA) crossover rejections.

Inquiry

• Choose Claim Status from the main menu and then the Crossover Rejection Letters tab
• Choose the TIN, NPI and PTAN, if needed.
• Part B: Enter in the Claim Number
• DME: Enter in the Claim Number or the From Date of Service
• Choose Submit.

Note: If the PTAN being used has not been "Opted-In" to receive the crossover rejection letters via the Noridian Medicare Portal, a message will display saying the PTAN has not been opted-in and to contact your Provider Administrator for update the Opt-In preferences.

Results

Choose the Document ID to view the letter.

Letters may also be viewed on the Claim Status Inquiry results if the PTAN being used for the inquiry has been "Opted-In" to receive the COBA crossover rejection letters on the Noridian Medicare Portal.
